Pagājušajā nedēļā Latvijas Nacionālajā bibliotēkā norisinājās ekoskolu apbalvošanas ceremonija.
No Trikātas pamatskolas uz apbalvošanu devās skolotāja Iveta Brence ar skolēniem – Veniju Kolomijecu, Tīnu Esteri Šulci, Danielu Pētersoni, Marko Eglīti, Elīnu Avotiņu, Samantu Elizabeti Pētersoni un Aleksu Zvejnieku.
Tika apbalvotas 195 izglītības iestādes, starp tām 12 Valmieras novada izglītības iestādes. Trikātas pamatskola ieguva Latvijas ekoskolu sertifikātu.
